I recently received a bouquet of beautiful flowers from my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day, and like many of you, I love receiving flowers; however, afterwards, I always run into the heartache of having to throw them away because they have become a biohazard. This time, the flowers were so beautiful that I had to find a way to preserve them, so I got my creative juices flowing, and I decided to turn them into a garland!
What I did was, before the flowers fully dried, I cut them off their stem and threaded a needle and string through each flower’s remaining stem. I made sure to be very careful not to mess with the petals since they can be very fragile. Once it was threaded the way I wanted, I let the petals fully dry. Then I hung it up on my wall as so, and there you have a beautiful flower garland for my dorm.
